SEE YOU THERE!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sylvia has been a professional massage therapist for 20 years. Originally from Canada, her training began there with the basics; Swedish Relaxation Massage. Throughout the many years of advanced training that have followed, she is still devoted to facilitating relaxation, first and foremost. "If there is no relaxation, there is no healing. There has to be a level of settle in the body/mind before the powerful effects of bodywork can take place.", she has said.
She encourages regular use of massage therapy as part of your health care. In doing so, you provide yourself with preventative health, warding off the effects of physical and mental stresses therefore supporting the prevention of injury or disease.
Sylvia is particularly skilled in providing an integrative approach for her clients. In addition to her 'relaxation first' philosophy, she may use deep tissue, posture and alignment, breath awareness, assisted stretching, trigger-point therapy, even hydro-therapy techniques within the treatment resulting in a therapeutic and recovery-focused session. It all depends on what your needs are. Her priority is you, the client.
